Background
Rise & Thrive is a breakfast networking and fundraising event created by the Youth Services Bureau to support vulnerable youth through services spanning housing, mental health, employment, and more. Bringing together professionals from across Ottawa, the initiative aimed to build a community dedicated to creating lasting, positive change for young people.
Challenge
The challenge was to build awareness for the first-ever Rise & Thrive event and motivate professionals and community members to get involved. The campaign needed to clearly express the event’s purpose and impact while standing out in a busy digital landscape.
Process
The direction centered on digital ads and a supporting landing page shaped by community-focused storytelling. Messaging highlighted connection, shared responsibility, and the idea that collective effort can meaningfully improve the lives of local youth. Clear pathways guided audiences toward learning more, registering, and offering support.
Solution
The resulting campaign delivered hopeful, inclusive messaging paired with an uplifting tone and cohesive visuals. This approach strengthened awareness, inspired participation, and positioned Rise & Thrive as a meaningful opportunity for the community to come together in support of Ottawa’s youth.
